A day before Big Sean released his third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise, the Detroit rapper released a freestyle for his fans over Beyonce's song "Me, Myself, & I." On the track, Sean raps: "Y'all braggin' about so and so, like "Oh, he really it? The new nigga in rap? Well, can he really spit?" Or do he just hide behind his skits like half of these rappers do. And then y'all fucking go and praise him and his bitch like they savior of this shit." Using the brief process of elimination, listeners immediately assumed Big Sean was speaking about Kendrick Lamar in that verse. While Sean was making the media rounds in promotion of Dark Sky Paradise, he spoke with Rob Markmam at MTV News about "Me, Myself, & I" and more specifically those few lines. Big Sean skated around the topic, denying it was a diss directed towards Kendrick Lamar.  So if it's not about Kendrick, who else could it possibly be about?
