In early July Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y announced 'Live In Concert,' the followup to their 2009 'How Fly' mixtape. After releasing the artwork five days ago, today August 9th, was the intended release date. However Live In Concert is being delayed, and Mac Miller is technically to blame.
Minutes ago both Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y took to Twitter to explain why their mixtape is being delayed. With Mac Miller currently facing two 10 million dollar copyright lawsuits, Khalifa and Spitta are making sure every last sample is cleared before they release it.
It is not clear whether either lawsuit against Miller will hold up in court. Regardless, the high profile cases have already affected the mixtape process.
