This past July Wiz Khalifa announced that he would be releasing a new collaboration mixtape with Curren$y. After issues spurred by Mac Miller's legal troubles with Lord Finesse, the originally intended August 9th Live in Concert release date came and went. Months passed with no word about the mixtape, until Curren$y offered a solution last night.

The New Orleans rapper proposed an idea on Twitter, releasing the project as a retail album. This way all samples used could be properly licensed, resulting in royalties to each respective artist/ producer.
