Unless you were a fan already, chances are the first time you heard Hopsin was with "Ill Mind Of Hopsin 4", when he took shots at fellow L.A. new school rapper Tyler, The Creator. Hopsin has had much success since that record however, even recently being selected for XXL's 2012 Freshman Class.
We met up with and spoke to Hopsin backstage at his last New York City concert to talk about a variety of topics including: Criticism of the 2012 XXL Freshman class, his "beef" with Tyler, The Creator, if his "weird" image takes away from his skill and how he wants to "be as big as Eminem one day."
