Last Monday Kendrick Lamar released his debut album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city.' After seeing the projections last week, the first week sales have officially been confirmed.
Kendrick Lamar sold 242,122 copies of his album, in just one week. This has made Kendrick's album one of the highest selling debut records in new school rap history, only being beat out by Drake's 'Thank Me Later.'
Along with that, it puts Kendrick on the path to a certified gold record over the next few weeks.
