Kid Cudi Fires “Rager” Shots At Machine Gun Kelly?

Minutes ago, Kid Cudi, the original Cleveland new school rapper, took to his Twitter to call out all of those who are "jacking his flow" by claiming they "rage". Putting two and two together, you can assume that Cudi is talking about the more recent new school hip hop star,Machine Gun Kelly, who uses the word "rage" in every other sentence. MGK, the rapper who calls his fans "ragers" and rages so hard, he shuts down malls with flash-mobs than proceeds to get arrested. Check out Kid Cudi's official statement about the matter below.

Those sound like 2 insults to me. AND RAGE started with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!! That’s all there is too it. When I saw RAGE in the 90′s and early 2000′s we would say “let’s go Rage”. To us it meant Raging against something we believed in and getting wild at the show…going hard. All I know is that in 1992 when Cudi was 6 years old starting grade 1, I was RAGING at the Rage Against The Machine Show and I’m pretty sure Cudi didn’t coin the term in grade 1. So get over yourself Cudi. Ask Zack de la Rocha if he thinks Cudi started the term Raging. This is a one sided Blog…that’s all there is too it. RE-write it and then be fair. FYI: The next thing you know Cudi is gonna tell everyone he was the first one who started wearing Chucks …SERIOUSLY!!! GET OVER YOURSELF!!!

I’m pretty sure Kid Cudi is a bit more developed/heavy in the game than Machine Gun Kelly. However, I don’t think we should be worried about trademarking words really. I mean, really? How old are we here? What is hip-hop about? Last time I checked, it wasn’t about trademarking words in the English language.

1. rage is kinda like one of those words in music thats can be passed around like “swag”
2. if u go to an MGK concert, u definetly rage harder than at a Cudi concert, just saying
3. everyone’s right, Cudi is a more established artist in the game, which is why he shudnt even have to take shots at an up and comer like MGK

  It all boils down to Jealousy and it’s sad because Cudi is already established. MGK is a new comer. The whole thing it totally stupid. Fighting over who started “RAGE” is SAD!! Sounds like Cudi might be looking for some of MGK’s recent attention, maybe he feels a bit intimated, Because MGK can FLOW and everyone knows it. When you see MGK and you “rage” that’s some serious shit now I’ve seen RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and that’s the only other show that I can honestly say is comparable to an MGK show. I’ve seen everyone, I’m old. And yes I have seen Cudi…he’s great but sorry no comparison. MGK is straight entertainment, he hangs off shit, he jumps off shit, he moshes.
