Kid Cudi Reveals Three Favorite Young Rappers

Kid Cudi (and Asher Roth) was featured on the first official XXL Freshman cover way back in 2009. Although that technically makes him a "new school" rapper, he's clearly an elder in the scene at this point. So, are you curious who Kid Cudi's three "younger rappers" are?

With King Chip being his right-hand man, that selection is a given. Kendrick Lamar is also no surprise as he will appear on Cudi's upcoming album. But Mac Miller is an interesting pick. Hopefully a song is on the way.

This is the absolute truth. When Best Day Ever came out i thought “how could the album top this!” Then the album came out and it wasn’t better…as with everything else since.

Mac Miller is good, he changed his style and stopped raping like a 15 year old kid. Blue Slide Park wasnt the best but neither was rolling papers or finally famous. Macadelic was the shit
