Mac Miller Signs His Label To Warner Bros, for Reportedly 10 Million Dollars
It's been a long time coming. After releasing his debut and sophomore albums with Pittsburgh based Rostrum Records, Mac Miller left the label to branch out with his REMember Music imprint. Today The FADER is reporting Mac's label imprint has found a new home at Warner Bros Records, reportedly worth 10 Million dollars.
Mac told The FADER via email: "Warner is the most independent thinking company I met with. It is a partnership and now I can focus on building my label Remember through music and let them handle everything I don't like doing. Nothing will change in how I do things." He added: "They have Prince."
Mac will now release all of his music via REMember/Warner Bros, while he will continue to sign and develop artists through the imprint. To celebrate the huge news, Mac released a new song on his Soundcloud page which you can listen to above.
