Last week we reported on a story that Earl Sweatshirt would be returning home to Los Angeles this week, to begin producing music alongside a new management team. While no official conformation has been made since, tonight things have become interesting as Earl has surfaced on Twitter and YouTube.
Operating under the 'EarlxSweat' Twitter handle, Earl (or a troll) released the above thirty-five second preview video for his song "Thanks James". Along with the video it was stated that once the Twitter page reached 50,000 followers, the full version of the song will be released.
Although this could be easily be another cruel joke from Odd Future, several key members of the crew have either referred to situation, or even mentioned the 'EarlxSweat' Twitter handle directly. Hodgy Beats even addresses our previous concerns of Earl Sweatshirt being "brainwashed" by those who "freed" him" Check out those few tweets below, we'll update this post as more news comes in.
