Along with posting new music from emerging rappers around the clock, here at The Masked Gorilla we meet up with and interview the very artists we cover. Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, Freddie Gibbs, Stalley, Machine Gun Kelly and many more, we've video interviewed them all. For the latest episode of our 'UNMASKED' video interview series, we're switching it up with our first ever interview with a professional skateboarder. Earlier this month I flew across the country to Los Angeles for a string of meetings and interviews. During the trip I ended up at Paul Rodriguez' private skatepark. For those of you who may not know, P. Rod who's sponsor list includes Nike, Mountain Dew, Plan B and many many others, is arguably the world's greatest skateboarder.  I spoke with P. Rod about the many similarities between skateboarding and hip hop. I also touched on his LA clothing boutique Primative, his ideology regarding contests and if and when he will ever retire from professional skateboarding. Big thank you to Dan for not only helping set this up, but filming the exclusive clips of Paul skating you see in this interview. 2011 has been an insanely successful year for myself and The Masked Gorilla, so closing it out with this high profile exclusive interview is very fitting. Shouts to everyone who has supported TMG in 2011, 2012 is already on course to be ten times more insane!
