Since 2009, The Masked Gorilla has introduced you to countless rappers before they gained mainstream attention. We've produced a handful of exclusive interviews with these artists along the way. While we started out by giving Mac Miller his first ever video interview when he was still in high school, more recently we've been fortunate enough to interview already prominent figures in the scene, such as Drama from MTV's The Fantasy Factory.

However with this new interview, we decided to kick it back to where we started and shine the light on a rapper who is in the very beginning stages of building a career.
This past May we introduced a new TMG feature called 'Recruited,' just so we could introduce you to Robb Bank$. Shortly after that, the 18 year old Florida rapper released, "Look Like Basquiat," "Like That," and "Refined," all tracks produced by fellow Floridan SpaceGhostPurrp.
In our new exclusive Skype interview with Robb we connect from New York to Florida, to dive into how exactly he met SpaceGhostPurrp. We also touch on the "Shaggy" rumor that took the internet by storm recently.
